This policy explains what information annechester.com collects and how it is used. The website is run by Anne Chester, LCSW, PA, 161 Summit Avenue, Suite 200, Office 2, Southlake, TX 76092.

This website is not for emergencies. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.

What we collect

Contact form. If you send a note through the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email, phone number, and the topic you choose. There is no free-text box, and we ask that you not include health details.
Consultation requests. When you request a consultation, you leave this website and use Valant, Anne's secure practice management system. Information you enter there is handled by Valant under its own privacy and security policies, not by this website.
Online sessions. Online sessions take place on Psychology Today Sessions, which has its own privacy policy.
Visit statistics. We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and see which pages are helpful. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect personal information. It shows us things like how many people visited and which pages they viewed, never who you are.

How we use it

Your contact form note is emailed to Anne so she can get back to you. It is not stored on this website or in any database. We use an email delivery service (Resend) to send it. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Other services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and images from Cloudinary. Like any website, these services may see basic technical information, such as your IP address, when your browser loads them. Links to other sites (Psychology Today, Valant, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) are covered by those sites' own policies.

Health information

Please don't send health or treatment details through this website or by regular email. If you become a client, your clinical information is handled separately, under HIPAA, through Anne's secure clinical systems.
