Questions, answered.
How many sessions will this take?
It's different for everyone. Some people feel better after a few sessions, others benefit from longer support. We'll set goals together and check in regularly to make sure therapy is working for you.
What's your availability?
I see clients Monday through Thursday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., in person and online. You can see open times on the online calendar. The office is closed Friday through Sunday, so weekend messages get a reply early the next week.
Do you think you can help me?
That's exactly what the consultation is for. We'll talk about what's going on and what you're hoping for, and you'll get a feel for whether working together makes sense. No pressure either way.
Do you take insurance?
I'm an out-of-network provider, so I don't bill insurance directly. I'll give you a superbill you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
How much does therapy cost?
Sessions are $200 for 45 to 50 minutes, in person or online. The first consultation is free.
Do you offer online sessions?
Yes. I see clients in person at my Southlake office and online for anyone located in Texas.
What is the first session like?
It's a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you in, your goals, and any relevant history. You'll have time to ask questions too. My goal is a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment.
Who do you work with?
Adults. Most of the people I work with are women who are carrying a lot and holding it all together.
Where is your office?
161 Summit Avenue, Suite 200, Office 2, in Southlake Town Square, Southlake, TX 76092.
Do you offer faith-integrated therapy?
Yes, if you want it. Faith is always an invitation, never a requirement. Learn about faith-integrated therapy.
Do you prescribe medication?
No. I'm a licensed clinical social worker, so I don't prescribe. I'm glad to work alongside your doctor or psychiatrist.
What if I'm in crisis?
Please call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911. My practice can't provide emergency support.
